Brisbane City Wedding Video

The wedding of Jen and Lachlan filmed by Daniel Vistar for Boutique Wedding Films.
On a beautiful Autumn day in March 2018 I had the honour of filming Jen and Lachlan's wedding day.
It was the third wedding I've filmed for Lachlan's extended family inside 12 months and 4th all up, with another booked for 2019! It seems the best form of advertising is word of mouth.
The day kicked with groom and bridal preps at their respective parents houses, followed by a modern Christian wedding to a full house at Creek Road Presbyterian Church. The wedding congregation was witness to a lovely service that paid tribute to the happy couple through song, prayer and lots of love.
After the service was complete the newly weds headed to Kangaroo Point in the afternoon for a beautiful photo shoot on the banks of the Brisbane river. As the sun began to set we were gifted with amazing golden light making for memorable photos and video.
The reception was held at Shangri-La Gardens in Wynnum West, a lovely room with with photo booth and live music which is sadly very rare to see these days - no offence to the great DJ's out there!
With all the usual reception formalities of cake cutting, dancing, ect, it was Lachlan's speech which was the highlight of the affair, after thanking all the guests and family members for being apart of his and Jen's special day he turned his comments to his new wife, not with words but with song - belting out a rendition of More Than Words by Extreme. The lyrics summed up his feeling towards Jen and had the guests onlooking with amazement as he hit some very high notes.
After the formalities it was well and truely party time with the guests hitting the dance floor, it was time for me to say goodbye and leave the couple and their guests to party on in to the evening.
With another wedding under the belt for Brian and Linda Whitwell, I can truely say it was an privilege to film both their sons, Lachlan and Frazer's respective weddings over the past 10 months.
